Women's Perfume
Mom called me this morning to say that she’d received a package in the mail that contained women's perfume. She said that it had her name on it, but when she opened it, aside from the packing, all that was in the box was the women's perfume. There was no card, nothing. I thought it was a little odd that mom would be receiving a package this close to Christmas, but I thought that maybe what had happened was that dad had meant to have it shipped to my house, or meant to intercept the women's perfume before she received it, but instead that didn’t happen. I assured her that the perfume wasn’t from me and teased her by saying that it sounded to me like she had a secret admirer. She laughed and said the only person who would be sending her women's perfume aside from me would either be my dad or brother. When I hung up with mom, I called my brother to ask him about the perfume. I heard him groan on the other end of the phone and that told me enough. He said he accidentally sent the women's perfume to mom and dad’s when he meant to send it to my house. I told him not to worry, that mom had her Christmas gift a little early this year.
