Women's Perfume
I was trying to find the right women's perfume for my wife. I did not know there were so many different perfume fragrances available. The variety in women's perfume was kind of overwhelming. I would normally just talk to my wife about it. Simply ask her what she likes. However, I was trying to surprise her. Asking her what perfume fragrances she likes would have tipped her off. I could have just looked at what perfume fragrances she already has and bought her the same. I wanted to give her a women's perfume she did not already have.
I turned to my son for help. I figured he could get away with asking her questions about perfume that I could not. It worked a little too well. My wife talked to me that night about the fact that our son was starting to show interest in perfume. Thankfully she thought it showed that he was starting to become interested in a girl. She figured he was trying to figure out something to give to a girl he liked. She was thrilled that he had turned to her for advice. I took the opportunity to ask her what perfumes she liked. I managed to surprise her that weekend.
