Light on the Women's Perfume |

I attended a funeral the other day and although I did wear one of my women's perfume fragrances I sprayed it on lightly. I feel one of the worst things that can happen is to be in close quarters with lots of other people under stressful circumstances and then having to deal with the overwhelming and clashing aromas of those same people. Not my idea of a good situation.
The funeral was short, it only lasted 15 minutes. It actually ended up being outdoors with a military gun salute. The honor guards unfolded then refolded the American Flag. The deceased's son and sister spoke. It was a short but respectful and touching ceremony. I am glad even though it was outdoors that I had sprayed my women's perfume lightly because it was close snug quarters with a big turn out. Plus when giving hugs the scent of a gentle aroma is better than a big gulp of someone's cologne.
On the way from the cemetery to a luncheon that followed I drove my car slowly in procession behind the other vehicles. As we drove I gathered my composure and breathed in the soothing scent of the women's perfume I had chosen to wear that morning. It was a good choice, mellow and calming. Good for such an occasion. |
