perfume fragrancesThe weather is definitely starting to warm up here in Maryland. Earlier today I spent some time working from deck at the back of my house and the warmth of the sun was hitting my legs and arms so that I felt very warm. Spring has most definitely come early this year, which seems a joy after the hard winter we had. The change in the season means many things to me. It means that I will start spending more time outdoors. It also means wearing clothes that keep my body cool and changing my look. I have been buying new perfume fragrances, too. You see the kinds of perfume fragrances I favor in winter are way too heavy for the warm weather months. In a cold climate I like wearing spicy oriental perfume fragrances that contain many woody fragrance notes. Such perfume fragrances tend to smell too cloying if worn when it is warm outside. Hence I wear perfume fragrances with light, fresh fragrance notes in summer and spring. I like wearing aqueous, green or fruity fragrance notes best when the weather is warm outside because they are uplifting but not overwhelming.
